The indochina communist party and the viet minh
The Indochina Communist Party, founded by Ho Chi Minh in 1930, was an organization created that aimed to help Indochina become liberated from the French (Indochinese). Although it ended in 1945, it was very important because it ultimately led to the creation of its successor, the Viet Minh (Ho). Ho Chi Minh described that this organization aimed to organize the people in resistance to the French and Japanese (Viet). Created in 1941, the Viet Minh eventually became a detriment towards the United States because when Viet Minh's military forces helped defeat the French during the Indochina war, China was impressed and gave over some of their military equipment. This led towards the Viet Minh becoming a strong force during the Cold War (VIET).
